Sisters and Brothers, As previously stated, we have agreed to a 24-hour rolling extension to continue bargaining at the refinery table. British Petroleum has not agreed to a 24-hour rolling extension at the pipeline table, so we are working without a contract there. Under an extension, everything in our contract remains in place with a 24-hour notice required to terminate the extension.

Brothers and Sisters, Contract negotiations are ongoing at both the national and local levels. At the national table, the industry continues to ignore the issues that the membership thinks are important. Our top table has rejected three offers that have failed to address most of our issues. Locally, bp has insisted that they will not meet NOBP pattern at the refinery or the pipelines.
